2. Device Permissions and Usage

To provide its core utilities, Handy Multi Tools requires access to specific hardware capabilities of your device. These permissions are requested only when necessary, and all data processed through these permissions is kept strictly on your local device:

• Camera Permission: Used exclusively to capture visual codes for the QR & Barcode Scanner feature. The app does not save, share, or transmit photos or videos.
• Microphone Permission: Used exclusively by the Sound Meter feature to measure environmental noise levels in decibels. No audio is recorded, saved, or transmitted.
• Device Sensors (Magnetometer, Accelerometer): Used by the Compass, Altimeter, and Leveler features to calculate direction, elevation, and alignment. Sensor data is processed in real-time and is never sent off your device.
• Storage Permission (if applicable): Used to read or write settings preferences and local database files (such as saved scanner history) directly on your device.

3. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This is used solely for crash reporting and app performance diagnostics.
